Vels University, in tie-up with Commissionerate of Employment & Training, government of Tamilnadu, and Careers, a human capital management company, Chennai, is organizes a job expo on the university campus. The exhibition is for those in the age group of 16 to 32 with minimum educational qualification starting with a pass in SSLC to Plus 2, IIT, diploma, degree, engineering in any subject (both UG and PG), MBA, MCA and Pharmacy. No fees of any kind would be accepted from the students for assisting the fair. This event is to promote more private firms to enroll candidates from district and also to render job possibilities to the seekers. Vels University, the host, has set up a free pick- up for the candidates from Pallavaram Railway Station between 8 am and 10 am. The fair would be held from 9 am to 6 pm.
