Introduction
Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee renders for the establishment and structure of Board of Technical Education in Uttarakhand and for matters associated there with or incidental there to. The act is reenacted by state construction in 54 year of India. It shall be considered to have come in to force from the date of notification issued by the state government. It covers to the whole of Uttarakhand state. The Uttaranchal Board of Technical Education is the administering assurance for polytechnic colleges and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the state. The UBTE is also trustworthy for Vocational Training in the state. The UPTE conducts Joint Examination for Polytechnics (JEEP) in the State. Admission to all Polytechnics in the state for Diploma Level Courses is made by JEEP test.
