Launched in 1943, Utkal University is between the oldest universities in India. The present campus of the teaching-cum-affiliating university is settled at Vani Vihar in Bhubaneshwar. The university has comprehensive listing of associated colleges under its jurisdiction. The motto of the University is ‘Satyam Param Dheemahi’. Utkal University has been appreciated by UGC and it also has the relationship of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
