UPSC ISS 2011 Exam Indian Economical Services Examination
Indian Economic Services Exam is managed or control by the Union Public Service Commission to recruit Grade IV officers for the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and Indian Economic Service (IES). Indian Economic Services Exam is generally conducted in the month of November. The Indian Economic Service Examination is carried on every year by the Union Public Service Commission

Eligibility
Candidate should have Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.

Age – limits:
21-30 years on 1st January of the year of Examination

Examination Pattern:
The exam is conducted in two stages- written test and viva voce. The written exam contains total marks of 1000 and the oral exam is of 200 marks.

Standard of Papers
The standard of papers in General English and General Studies will be that of a graduate of an Indian University. The standard of papers of other subjects will be that of the Masters Degree examination.

Application Procedure:
The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment
