The Union Public Service commission will Cause to remain in a certain state, position, the Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination commencing for recruitment to Grade IV of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS). The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
Educational Qualification
For Indian Economic Service Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.
For Indian Statistical Service Post Grade Degree from an Indian university in Statistics/Applied Statistics/Mathematical Statistics.
Age – limits:
21-30 years on 1st January of the year of Examination

How to apply
The UPSC have developed an application form common for all their examinations which will be processed on computerized machines. This application form along with an Information brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application is obtainable from the designated Head post offices/post offices throughout the country against cash payment of prescribed rate
