University Of Pune Convocation
Convocation of the University of Pune will begin on Tuesday. In a cause assured over by wire engineering president Azim Premji along with Vice Chancellor Narendra Jadhav, levels of 46,535 students will be declared, of which 25 gold medalists will be granted by the chief guests. Finally, due to unavailability of dates from the Prime Minister’s Office, it was settled to go ahead with the convocation — but without the PM. “To avoid further convenience to students, we will not wait any longer for the PM’s dates, and have decided to go ahead with the convocation,” Vice Chancellor Narendra Jadhav had said while declaring that Premji would preside over the function instantly of Singh.
