University of Allahabad Academic Staff College
Allahabad University is a premier Central University located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Founded on 23rd September in 1887, the University concerned itself mainly with examinations having no teaching staff (except that of its School of Law) until 1914. Thereafter it based chairs and audiences, etc. for explore work in Economics and Modern History for graduate students. In 1904 the university, along with all other existing schools of India, was brought under the fold of Indian Universities Act.
