The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization founded at the end of World War II. UNESCO attempts to operate as a lab of estimates and a standard-setter to devise universal agreements on arising proper matters. On October 15, 2009, Irina Bokova of Bulgaria was selected as the 10th director-general of UNESCO. UNESCO’s top official Irina Bokova said “the world body was discerning that the financial occasion would cause governments to scale back support on education”.
