Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test is joint entrances manage or control by the Co-ordination Committee, Kumaun University – Nainital. This test is held for admission to MBA, MCA and Allied Courses (regular and part-time) in all Management and MCA Institutes/University Departments in the State. Mainly UAJET written exam is carried on in the month of June every year. UAJET, Department of Management Studies is made known or openly avowed notification for Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test for the academic year 2011.

Eligibility
Candidate should be Graduates in any stream like arts, sciences, commerce, computers etc may write Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test (UAJET) for Master of Business Administration (MBA). However, candidates seeking admission into Master of Computer Application (MCA) program must have studied mathematics at 10+2 level.
Application Forms
UAJET-application forms can also be downloaded from UAJET website and printed on A4 size executive bond papers. Application forms and brochure of UAJET can be found from the designated branches of State Bank of India against payment of the specified amount plus bank charges. The duly filled in/downloaded forms should be sent to the Coordinator, UAJET, Kumaun University campus, Bhimtal-263136 along with a crossed Demand Draft of the prescribed n favour of the Financial Officer, Kumaun University, Nainital, payable at Nainital.
Selection Procedure
For MCA
Separate Merit List will be prepared for eligible candidates belonging to various categories on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. In case of candidates securing the same marks the relative merit shall be decided on the basis of age.
For MBA
Selection of the applicants will be made on the basis of the merit prepared taking into account the combined performance in Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test and shall be listed for GD & PI.
