Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is an autonomous Institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the authorities of India. We do basic explore in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics and computer science. It is settled at Navy Nagar Colaba, Mumbai. It is one of the prominent explore centers in India, and is considered as being a leader in certain fields like.
Admission Procedure:
Candidates will be called for interviews to be held during end-February to early-April, 2010. Exact dates would be announced later.
Application Fee (Non-Refundable): Rs 500/- for online applications and Rs 550/- for manual applications. Rs 800/- for students who wish to take the test as walk-in candidates (Please see the walk-ins section on this website).
How to Apply
Interested candidates will have to apply / submit the application form online in the website: http://uni.tifr.res.in. Only candidates belonging to remote areas with no access to internet can send their request for the application form along with a self addressed stamped (Rs 20) envelop (25cm X 17cm) superscribed GS-2010 subjects.
