TIFAC Mission Reach
The Mission Reach (Relevance and Excellence in achieving new heights in educational institutions) was established by TIFAC during October 2000. It is aspiring for the growth of human resources of international standards, contributing a level education in selected fields of high relevance to industry and society by producing sustainable connections amongst academia and industry. Every one of them a shrine of excellence, with the best of teachers, students, researchers, enterprisers and industries, this network of Cores will become a strong and important resource to understand the dream of a formulated India by 2020. Select engineering, science and technical Institutions are improved as Centers of Excellence and the level of education is extended in order to meet the S&T work force requirement in the encouraged emerging fields. So far 31 cores have been establish in several academic institutions spread throughout the nation.
