Telangana University is situated at Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh. It was founded under an Act of 2006 of Andhra Pradesh legislature. There are more than one hundred fifty colleges in the state that are affiliated with the university. Telangana University has educational jurisdiction disseminate throughout 3 dominions of Andhra Pradesh namely Adilabad, Medak and Nizamabad.
