TBJEE 2011 Tripura Board Joint Entrance Examination
Joint Entrance Examination 2011 (JET-2011) will be taken for admission to BE courses at Tripura Engineering and Regional Engineering College, Silchar by Tripura. The admissions to the Undergraduate Programmes for all Indian and Foreign nationals at these institutions will be made by the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination will be taken Joint Entrance Examination for the Session 2011-12 at Agartala, Udaipur and Kailashahar for admission to Engineering, Medial, Technological and other professional Degree Courses against sets reserved for the State of Tripura (Excluding seats reserved in REC / NITS) including the seats of Tripura Engineering Colleges.

Eligibility Criteria for BE/ B.Tech Exam:
A candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with English in class 12th with an aggregate of atleast 50% in PCM for general category students. SC/ST candidates need to have atleast 45% aggregate in PCM.
Examination pattern
Each of the subjects of Examination will be of 100 marks. Questions will be related to the Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and those seeking admission to Medical / Agricultural Courses, etc. (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Candidate may answer the questions either in English or in Bengali.
Reservation
Reservation of seats for SC/ST candidates will be as per State Government approved norms. The seats of Regional Engineering Colleges reserved for Tripura will also be filled up from merit lists of this Joint Entrance Examination.
Availability of Admission form:
The application form may be found on the official website. The application forms may even be downloaded from the official website of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education. The form may also be obtained by post, by writing to the registrar to the university mentioning the applicant’s name with an expected demand draft & some other details.
How to Apply
The application form can be downloaded from the official website of Tripura Board of Secondary Education and can be got by sending a request letter along with a DD of prescribed application form fees. After filling the application form, applicant can submit application along with all essential enclosures and Fee through DD to admission office of institute before the last date of Receipt application form.

Admission Card for JET-2011shall sent to the candidate at his/her address as referred in JET-2011Application Form.
Selection Procedure: The candidate will be selected on the basis of written test on followed by interview. All desirable candidates will be called for a written examination which will be both Objective and Descriptive in nature.
