SIBM began in 1978, and since then has been substitutable with development. The campus was started by Arjun Singh, Honourable Minister of Human Resources Government of India on 11 July 2008 with the purpose controlled by M Yedyurappa, Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka. The tendency of progression has been remained by setting up of SI (DU)’s first ’outside-Maharashtra’ campus at Bangalore in 2008. The Bangalore campus conceives in changing the SIBM brand by working old conceptions and on perpetually introducing new ones. The new institute provides a 2 year full time MBA-residential programme with specialties in the area of Finance, Marketing, Human resource, Operations and also to choose from IT and Agro-Business. The stress is on uttermost industry interaction and on the practical features of management education. The program definitely supplies a holistic approach to management and this goes a long way in making an active identity.
