Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, was based in June 1961 and offers only Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in Civil, Electrical and. The institute has in all 11 hostels, 9 male and 2 female, adapting a total of over 3000 students. This institute was advanced to a National Institute of Technology as per the NIT Act.It was earlier named as Sardar Vallabhbhai Regional College of Engineering and Technology (SVRCET).
