St. Mary’s of the woods, Notre Dame in
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College was based in 1844 is the nation’s oldest Catholic college for women. Founded by the Sisters of capital of Rhode Island in 1840, the College is settled just northwest of Terre Haute, Indiana, and enrolls about 1,700 students in the campus-based, undergrad distance learning and graduate programs.
