Sri Sarada College for Women, Salem was commenced in the year 1961 as an affiliated college of the University of Madras by Seethalakshmi Ramaswamy under the benign decorates and presidentship of Srimath Swami Chidbhavananda of Sri Ramakrishna Tapovanam, To allow for enough knowledge and skills of teaching and discovering in the young trainees and develop in them a confident attitude for teaching professing.
