The University accredited the centre for Distance Education (CDE) in the academic year 2000 – 2001. The programmes provided by CDE are open to persons throughout India. Personal Contact Programme Classes (PCP) is prepared for the benefit of interested students. The University’s centre for Distance Education provides to longer motives of the area. It extends eight PG courses and three PG Diploma programmes in addition to MBA and MCA. It also provides seven UG courses. The courses provided by the centre are open to persons throughout India. The medium of teaching for the PG courses is English, although the learners have the alternate to write the examinations either in English or in Telugu except in languages. The pattern of the courses is non-semester and internal assessment is a part of the comprehensive assessment of the candidates.
