Shivaji University at Kolhapur came into being in 1962. It has approximately 2, 00000 students in 275 colleges associated to it. Shivaji University takes students to several post postgraduate program of the University either by an entrance exam or merit in the qualifying examination. Students have to pass the Shivaji University Entrance exam to get admitted to MCA Course. Shivaji University will conduct entrance exams in 2011 for following programmes, details are given below:-
Eligibility:
Candidates have to pass their graduation under the 10+2+3 pattern with mathematics as one of the subjects (or at the 10+2 level) for admission to the MCA program.
Application Form:
The application form can be got in cash payment from the University counter. It can also be got by sending a DD of the same amount drawn in favor of the “Finance and Account Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur”. The application form for MCA Entrance Exam must be filled online. Duly filled application forms along with a DD drawn in favor of the “Finance and Account Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur” must reach the Inward section, Room No. 136, Shivaji University Kolhapur-416004 before last date.
Shivaji University MCA Entrance Reservation
Reservation of Candidate For admission in MCA Exam Program will be by there’s Govt Rules and Regulation.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidate will be based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The candidate selection will be also based on the rules and regulation of the Shivaji University.
Test Centres:
The Shivaji University MCA entrance Exam will be held at Kolhapur (Shivaji University), Satara (Yashyanto Rao Chavan Institute of Science), Sangli (Smt. Kasturbai Walchand College of Arts & Science), Solapur (Sangmeshwar College), Nagpur (Department of Botany, Nagpur University), Mumbai (Modern College, Navi Mumbai), Bangalore (Department of Commerce Central College Campus), Delhi (Department of Biotechnology, J.N.U.) and Goa (Dnyan Prasarak Mandal’s College of Arts Commerce & Science, Bardesh).
