Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, popularly recognized as SKUAST Kashmir, is settled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The university was appointed after Jenab Sheikh Mohammad, to pay a protection to the great patriotic someone of Kashmir, who was popularly experienced as ‘Sher-e-Kashmir’. SKUAST was launched under an Act communicated by the State Legislature. The university is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
