School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, (in short SPAV), was founded on July 7, 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, as an sovereign institution. School of Planning and Architecture is a National Resource Institute of India. It is also one of the few premieres ‘Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI)’ under the Government of India. Presently SPA has 3 subdivisions throughout India, managed under the national Government of India. The SPA Vijayawada is a specified university contributing education and experiment in the area of Planning and Architecture. The SPA’s are well-distinguished amongst national and international fraternity for their quality education and alumnus. The permanent campus of the school is suggested to be formulated in the city of Vijayawada in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh (India).
