The School of Planning and Architecture is a specialized University, only one of its types, which exclusively provides training at various levels, in different aspects of human habitat and environment. The School is a specialized University, only one of its kind, which exclusively provides training at various levels, in different aspects of human habitat and environment. The School has taken lead in introducing academic programmes in specialized fields both at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, some of which are even today not available elsewhere in India. The School of Planning and Architecture is inviting application for its new academic session 2011-2012 for UG, PG and Ph.D degree programmes, other related details are given below:-

(a) Environmental Planning

(c) Transport Planning
(d) Regional Planning
(e) Urban Planning
(iii) Master’s Programme in Building Engineering and Management
(iv) Master’s Programme in Landscape Architecture
C. Doctoral Programmes
Eligibility for Graduate Programmes
The candidate should have passed 10+2 with (1) Chemistry (2) Computer Science (3) Biology (4) Engineering Drawing (5) Physics or any other Subject with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Eligibility for Post-Graduate Programmes
Environmental Planning, Regional Planning & Urban Planning: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning/Architecture/Civil Engineering/ Architectural Engineering/M.A. Geography/ Economics/ Sociology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Eligibility for Doctoral Program: Master Degree in Architecture / Planning or equivalent degree with a good academic record.

Candidates may apply in prescribed application form available from branches of UCO Bank in Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Nagpur, Kolkata and Mumbai or forms can be downloaded from the School’s website: http://www.spa.ac.in.
Admission process
Admission to UG PG and Doctoral Programmes in Architecture/Planning in the School will be made by All India Engineering/ Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE-2011) conducted by CBSE in April, 2011, strictly on merit (All India Rank) as per the prescribed qualifications notified by CBSE in the newspapers and as per directions of the Government of India.
