Invites the application form for admission in School of Advanced Engineering and Information Technology Program for academic session 2011 Through the Entrance Exam
Courses: Designed by IIT Madras and BHEL to enhance the skill set of young of modern engineering industry.
Conducted at SAEIT’s campus in the BHEL complex at Tiruchirappalli.
Faculty:
Professors from IIT Madras handle theoretical course. Project work and work and labs under the guidance of IIT professors and BHEL engineers.
Eligibility:
B.E/B. Tech degree with minimum 60% overall (total marks /no. of semesters). *Refer website for engineering branches application for each course.
Program CE – CFD, CAD, FEM, Continuum Mechanics, Pressure vessel design, Software Tools: PRO/E, CATIA, ANSYS, CFX, PV-ELITE, CAESAR, ABAQUS, I-DEAS, ALIAS.
Method of Selection:
Selection will be on the basis of marks obtained in (a) the qualifying degree course (d) entrance test (c) interview.
Short listed on the basis of (a) and (b) will be called for the interview.
Hostel Facilities:
Available with separate accommodation for women.
Entrance Test:
At IIT Madras on July 1, followed by interviews for short listed candidates on July 1&2 Separate tests will be conducted for each course at different timings on July 1 for the benefit of candidates applying for more than one course.
