Rehabilitation Plantations Limited (RPL) is a company began as a rubber plantation strategy in 1972 for the establishment of Sri Lankan citizens, which was required by Sirimao-Sastri contract of 1964. This strategy later changed into a Government Company and integrated on 1976. It has made up 700 citizen families from Sri Lanka. It offers 2 members from each family with employment in the company. At present it has a total of 1167 assistants, 197 staff members and 34 Officers in the firm. It has sprawling fields of 2070 hectares and three factories. The capital parts of Government of India and Government of Kerala are 40% and 60% respectively.
