Regional Testing Centre (E.R.), Kolkata currently under Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Govt. of India, is rendering Test and Calibration services to Small Scale Industries & industrial establishments as well as review agencies of eastern and north- eastern division of the nation by its various research labs namely, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and Metallurgy including Non-Destructive Testing. It renders test and calibration services to all industrial establishments as well as Inspection authorities of Eastern India. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Easter Region, Kolkata recruited the candidates in 2010 for below mentioned posts, in 2011 the department may open the vacancies for the same posts, the related details are given below:-

Selection Procedure: The candidate will be selected on the basis of written test on followed by interview. All desirable candidates will be called for a written examination which will be both Objective and Descriptive in nature.
