RBI Grade B Exam 2009 Results
RBI was launched on April 1, 1935. The headquarters of RBI is in Mumbai. It was nationalized in 1949. The function of RBI is to monitor the financial sector constituting Banks, Financial institutes and Non-Banking finance companies. It also handles foreign trade. The headquarters of the Reserve Bank was initially launched in Calcutta but was permanently motivated to Mumbai in 1937. The headquarters is where the Governor sits and where policies are formulated.
