Rayalaseema University is situated at Kurnool in the region of Kurnool. The University has been allotted with an A Grade authentication by the NAAC established by UGC. The university conducts various UG, PG and research courses as well as areas like Geology, Pharmacy, Criminology & Forensic Science, Anthropology, and Computer Applications. It is a state university and a member of The Association of Indian Universities, AIU.
Recently approval to establish Rayalaseema University was allotted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the substructure growth is in full speed. The government medical college is one of the best collages in India. The university was yet to be accredited by the UGC since it was began by a State government order (G.O.) to subject itself to UGC recognition, the university should have full-developed staff, namely, 1 professor, 2 associate professors and 4 assistant professors in at least 5 departments.

Does RAYALASEEMA UNIVERSITY have UGC approval? I’ve registered for Phd in RU, a state university. Kindly clarify about the status of this university.
