Rajiv Gandhi Technical University was founded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh vide Act No. 13 of 1998. Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGPV) is also recognized as State Technological University of Madhya Pradesh. It is an Indian multi-campus associating university in Madhya Pradesh. The university is also famous for its wide technical scope of courses and considers being one of India’s most effective universities. It has campuses and associated colleges at cities like Gwalior, Bhopal, Sagar, Indore, Jabalpur etc. The University has distinguished Polytechnic unit. All the colleges of Engineering, Science and Technology as well as the Polytechnics associated to several Universities and Boards of Technical Education are associated to the newly establish University of Technology.
