Rajalakshmi Engineering College was founded in the year 1997 under the auspices of Rajalakshmi Educational Trust whose members have had accomplish experience in the areas of education and industry. Its aim is to be an institution of excellence in Engineering, Technology and Management Education & Research. It provides effective and appropriate professionals with a regard for society.
This College comes under the Southern Region of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The College is recognized by NBAS and NAAC; ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institution. The Placement Centre is guided by Prof. B.T. Maran, B.E., MBA, an alumnus of College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University.
