The Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore is component of the division of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India that contains experiment and growth in optical maser, particle accelerators and other related technologies. Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology was founded by the Department of Atomic Energy, India to expand the activities carried out at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, in 2 frontline fields of science and technology namely Lasers and Accelerators.
The RRCAT has done worthy work and delivered high quality factors thereby planning India amongst the top nations of the world in the associated areas of study.
