Jamipol is a Private Sector organisation that offers services in Metals, Mining with yearly total turnover of 10-100 Crs and with worker intensity level of 10 to 50. JAMIPOL has also obtained ISO 9001-2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 authorization for both units. JAMIPOL manufactures carbide based (CADs) and carbide & magnesium based DCs (CAMs). It also provides magnesium based DCs (MAGs). The products are tailor made for unique customer demand with varying degree of calcium carbide, magnesium, lime, volatiles, slag conditioners and other additives depending upon the requirement. It is a joint venture company, promoted by Tata Steel, SKW Stahl Metallurgie AG, Germany and Tai Industries, Bhutan for the production and marketing of Desulphurising Compounds (DCs) used by the Steel Industry for outside desulphurisation of hot metal.
