Introduction
Purvanchal University, settled at Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh, was launched in 1987 as a residential-cum-associating university. One of the higher education centers in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, it is appointed after Late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The university has relished persistence qualitative and quantitative development. It has more than 450 related graduate and post-graduate colleges.
