Punjab PMT 2011 Pre Medical Test
PMET is applied for admission into the first year of the programs such as MBBS, BDS and BAMS into the several government and private affiliated medical colleges/institutes under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot in Punjab. If any candidate want to take admission in following course, must be appear in PMET entrance exam.
Several institute or college announced notification for admission in following courses, for academic session 2011.
Courses
The entrance test is conducted for the following courses:

Eligibility
MBBS, BDS, BAMS
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board. The candidate must have attained 17 years of age and must be permanent resident of the state of Punjab.
BHMS
The candidate must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with 40% (for SC/ BC 33%) marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board or in PCB group.
Application form:
PMET 2011 Prospectus comprising OMR Application Form and other conditions will be available at counter in the office of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and also at the following branches of Canara Bank on cash payment of prescribed fees from first week of May onwards.
PMT 2011 Selection procedure:
Selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The candidate selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the Punjab Pre-Medical test.
How to apply for PMT 2011:
The wishful candidate may also apply online also and sent some along with passport size photograph attached on the right hand corner of the application and attested copies certificate and a demand draft in favour of the Punjab Pre-Medical Test (PMT).
Examination Pattern
PMET test paper consists of objective type multiple-choice questions.
Questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
There is the system of negative marking for a wrong answer attempted by the candidate.
Syllabus
PMET (Punjab Medical Entrance Test) entrance test paper comprises of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. The standard of the questions is of the 10+2 level followed by various boards across India.
