Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) is studied one of the most honored medical institution of India situated in Chandigarh and is globally acknowledged for the quality, research and training. The institute had begun its procedure from 1962.PGIMER is both an educational institute that gives postgraduate medical training and a working hospital that furnishes inexpensive medical care to a large number of patients. It is an independent institute under the Act of the Parliament of India in 1967 and has been accorded the status of Deemed University. The institute awards its own degree to the students. The PGIMER was also devoted the responsibility to extend the horizons of medical cognition by intensive research in the field of health.
