Physical Research Laboratory India
Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in India is set up in 1947. Physical Research Laboratory situated in Ahmedabad, is the basic science research branch of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). PRL initial center was research on Cosmic Rays and the properties of the Upper Atmosphere. Research in Theoretical Physics and Radio Physics were contributed later with grants from the Atomic Energy Commission. The Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) is a national Research Institute for space and allied sciences, supported primarily by Department of Space, Government of India.
