Orissa JEE 2011 Orissa Joint Entrance Examination
The Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (Orissa JEE 2011) for the year 2011 – 2012, Orissa will be held in April, 2011 at selected centers for admission to the first year Degree courses in Engineering/Technology, MBBS/BDS, Pharmacy, MCA, MBA and to the Lateral Entry of State candidates to third semester of degree courses in Engineering/Technology, and Pharmacy. For admission to BTech, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm., MCA and MBA courses and Lateral Entry to BTech, BPharm Courses in Government and Private Colleges.

Eligibility for Engineering/Technology: Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and one from Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology or pass in 10+3 diploma course in engineering including those having less than 60% marks in aggregate from SCTE&T, Orissa or equivalent.

Eligibility for Pharmacy: Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry and one from Mathematics, Biotechnology, Computer Science /Biology or pass in 10+3 diploma course in Pharmacy including those having less than 60% marks in aggregate from SCTE&T, Orissa or equivalent.

Eligibility for MBBS/BDS: Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST).

Eligibility Criteria MBA program:-
Bachelor degree (10+2+3) with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates). Those completing final examination of bachelor’s degree by June 2011 can also apply for provisional admission.

Eligibility for MCA program:-
Applicants must have pass with minimum aggregate of 60% in the under mentioned “Bachelor’s Degree” of any university or equivalent or must have mathematics as a subject or in 10+2 examination.

Eligibility Criteria for M.E. program:-
A candidate must have passed B.E./ Bsc./ B.Tech with atleast 50% in PCM for general category students. SC/ST candidates need to have atleast 45% aggregate in PCM.

How to apply
The application form for admission in Engineering/Technology, MBBS/BDS, Pharmacy, MCA, and MBA can be got by cash payment from admission office of The Institute by cash payment and by Sending DD. The candidate may also download application form through the official website of the Chairman, JEE – 2011 Orissa; JEE Complex Gandamunda, PO: Khandagiri Bhubaneswar-751030. After filling the application form along with all expected enclosures and Fee through DD to admission office of institute submit it on the below given address before the last date of Receipt application form.

Reservation:
The percentage of seats to be reserved for different categories is subject to change and the decision of the State Government as on the date of admission will be applicable.

Outside State Candidate:
Outside State candidates are not eligible for admission in Govt. Colleges but they are eligible for admission to Privates Colleges except private Medical (MBBS/BDS) Colleges.

Selection Process
The Selection of the Candidate is based on Personal interview and written admission test. The Selection of the candidate is also based on the rules and regulation of Orissa Joint Entrance Examination Board.
