Ocean Science and Technology Cell OSTC
Introduction
Ocean Science and Technology Cell were launched on 15.1.1998 through a MoU contracted amongst the Department of Ocean Development [now called Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES)] and the Mangalore University. The goal of the Cell is to assign research in marine sciences and technology and to formulate human resources needed for affirmed use of its vast ocean resources for socio-economic benefit of the Indian society.
