Introduction
The National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board founded by Government of India in 1982 is an institutional mechanism, with a broad business of assigning gainful self-application amongst the Science and Technology manpower in the state and to setup ability based and innovation driven projects.
The Societal Programme of the Department plays a vital role in the development strategy of various sections of the society, which opens chances to motivated scientists, engineers and area level workers to take-up time bound developmental projects with inputs of Science & Technology for the benefit of underprivileged sections of the society.
