NMDC Disinvestment
National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC) is a public sector undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel. NMDC is engaged in the exploration of wide range of minerals including iron ore, lime stone, diamond etc. NMDC is India’s single largest iron ore producer and is presently operating three large mechanized iron ore mines in addition to operating the only mechanized diamond mine in the country, at Panna in Madhya Pradesh.
