The National Law School of India University was founded with a view to make it an innovator in legal education in India. In its short life span from 1987 until the present day it has handled to do this and more. Its several activities and courses provided and the respective laurels it has won throughout the world are amply dealt with in the prospectus and other official literature. The National Law School of India University is inviting application for its new academic session 2011-2012 for LLB degree, other related details are given below:-

Admission Eligibility: 10+2 School Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks (Students taking qualifying examination in March/April 2004 are also eligible to apply)

Age Limit: Below 20 years as on 1st July, 2011 (22 years in case of SC/ST candidates)

Availability of Application forms:
Since the admission to NLSIU is by CLAT, candidates have to apply for CLAT. Candidates may get the application form of CLAT through specified branches of Indian Bank, State bank of India and all participating National Law Schools. Candidates may also download the form by the website www.clat.ac.in. Candidate may also get the forms of CLAT by the CLAT office by post by sending a DD along with the request for form.

Division of seats:
Total Seats: 80 Seats
All India seats through entrance: 70 seats
Foreign Nationals through merit: 10 seats

Examination Pattern of CLAT:
The Entrance paper will be of 90 minutes containing 150 multiple choice questions from the following sections:
English: 35 questions
General Knowledge/Current Affairs: 35 questions
Elementary Mathematics: 10 questions
Legal Aptitude: 35 questions
Logical Reasoning: 35 questions

Examination Centers:
Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Patna

Important Dates for CLAT (Tentative):
Date of Entrance Examination: first week of May, 2011
Availability of Application Forms: second week of January, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: first week of April, 2011

    hello sir i have a wish for done LLB in NLU .but my percentage is 44.5 in 12th .and iam a candidate from ST catagury .can i eligible for clat?
