National Institute of Technology, Warangal is a first undergraduate and post graduate engineering institute settled in Warangal, India. Institute of National Importance awarding bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in engineering, technology, basic sciences and management. Formerly known as the Regional Engineering College, Warangal it is the first among the 17 Regional Engineering Colleges founded in India and was founded in 1959 by the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Lal Nehru.
