Introduction
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat is a government engineering college conducting several courses on several fields of Engineering and Technology. In 2002, SVREC Surat earned full autonomy in its academics as it was allowed the status of a deemed to be University by the Government and renamed as National Institute of Technology. The institution was founded in 1961 as a join venture of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat.
