The Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar popularly known as NIT-Jalandhar or NITJ, is an Indicating the most important performer or role premier autonomous university in northern India. The institution was Brought about or set up or accepted; especially long established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College. In this institute have many department and all departments offer courses to the students of the Institute at both UG and PG levels and are actively involved in research in their specific fields. Admissions
The admissions to the BTech Programs run by the institute are by an all India level entrance test, known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination AIEEE. The admissions to the MTech- Programs are by the GATE exam conducted by the IITs and IISc. While Post Graduate admission is on the basis of previous research and interviews by the appropriate screening committees.
