National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur is situated at Anu in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. NIT Hamirpur is among the esteemed NITs spread throughout India. Founded in the year 1986, NIT Hamirpur was found as Regional Engineering College by joint and cooperative efforts of the Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur provides Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate education in Engineering, Sciences & Humanities. The Central Government has promoted the NIT Hamirpur to the class of National Institute of Technology and it has been granted the status of a Deemed University. Eligibility BE / B Tech / UG /Undergraduate:
Applicants should have passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination with in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Eligibility M.E. / M Tech / PG / Post Graduate:
Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering / AMIE in appropriate discipline or a Masters degree in appropriate discipline with 60% marks in aggregate.
Eligibility MBA: The applicant must possess a Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology / Architecture or MCA with CGPI of 6.75 on 10 point scale or equivalent or 60% marks in aggregate wherever marks are awarded.
Eligibility Doctorate:
For admission in PhD (Engineering) an applicant should have a Masters degree in Engineering / Technology with minimum 60% marks. Applicants with a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Master Degree in Applied Science or any appropriate discipline with a minimum of 75% marks and sufficient experience and publications are also considered.
How to apply
Interested candidates are needed to fill in web enabled on-line application forms from any place of their convenience. Also they are needed to take a print out of the electronic submission and send it by post along with all documents marks sheets/certificates and a demand draft, so as to reach on or before last date.
