National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur is a public technical university settled at Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh state of India and is altogether funded by Government of India. The Central authorities have upgraded the NIT Hamirpur to the category of National Institute of Technology and it has been allowed the status of a Deemed University. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate education in Engineering, Sciences & Humanities. It runs undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Engineering and Architecture and Doctor of Philosophy programme in Engineering, Sciences and Humanities. It is one of the twenty National Institutes of Technology founded and administered by Government of India.
