Introduction
The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur was established by an Act of Parliament in 1960 as one of the cardinal such colleges directed to function as a pace setter for engineering education in the country and to adoptive national integration. This institute is also a deemed university and offer under graduate, post graduate and doctorate program on different discipline of engineering, technology, science and management. The National Institute of Technology Durgapur constitutes a number of departments, coving almost all disciplines of science, technology, engineering and management.
