National Institute of Technology, Durgapur is a public technical university entirely financed by Government of India. It is 1 of the 20 National Institutes of Technology based and administered by Government of India. It runs undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy programme in Engineering, Sciences and Humanities.
The Placement Office helps in assuring placements for students passing out from the Institute. The Placement Cell renders the substructure services to carry group discussions, tests and interviews. The Office acts with over one hundred fifty manufactures in the nation, of which nearly fifty companies visit the campus for containing campus interviews. The Placement Office is aided by a committee comprising representatives of students from the under-graduate and post-graduate engineering fields and the science fields.

Respected Sir,
I am the student from Nepal who have passed out +2 and is waiting for second years result.I want to get admitted at NIT Durgapur and probably this is possible from the DASA scheme.
I want to know about the records of Nepali students who have come as well as about the placements from this college.Moreover i would like to inform you that i want to join Mechanical Engineering Course!!!!
