National Institute of Technology, Agartala was established as Tripura Engineering College in 1965 and advanced to NIT in 2006. Its aim is to help to improve the economic growth of the country especially the North-East states and also the public systems, through pursuit of Excellency in technical education, explore, practice and training. It is one of the 20 National Level Technical Institutes.
Admission Procedure:
Admission to the undergraduate programs is based on the rank obtained in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination [AIEEE] conducted by the Central Board Of Secondary Education (C B S E ) New Delhi.
Eligibility:
The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03(three) uniformly foror its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.
