NERIST Entrance Exam 2011 NEE
The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) conducts NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) 2011 for 3 different entrance examinations (Certificate, Diploma and Degree Programs) is contained for admission in 3 different Stages such as NEE-I, NEE-II, NEE-III.
Number of Seats:
Base (NEE-I) – 180
Diploma (NEE-II) – 72
Degree (NEE-III) – 72
Eligibility Criteria for NERIST NEE 2011:
For NERIST NEE I (Certificate):
An examinee should have passed class X or equal with Science and Mathematics. Also an examinee should not be more than 19 years of age as on August 2011.
For NERIST NEE II (Diploma):
An examinee should not be more than 23 years of age as on August 2011.
For NERIST Engineering:
An examinee should have passed class 12th or equal with PCM or Vocational in Electronics/ Farm Machinery & Equipment / Electrical / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Automobile Technology/ Structure & Fabrication Technology/ Computer Science OR NERIST Certificate.
For Forestry:
An examinee should have passed class 12th or equal with PCB or vocational in Forestry/ Horticulture or NERIST Certificate (Forestry).
For NEE III (Degree):
An examinee should have passed diploma in the area he/she wants to select for degree. An examinee should not be more than 23 years of age as on August 2011.
Key Dates (Tentative):
1st week of December, 2010 to January end, 2011 is the date of Availability of application forms
1st week of March, 2011 is the Last Date for submitting application forms
Last week of April, 2011 (Saturday) is the date of NEE-II & NEE – III and NEE-I (Sunday)
3rd week of June, 2011 is the date of Result announcement
