The National Dairy Development Board was made to encourage, finance and affirm maker-possessed and assured administrations. NDDB’s programmes and activities search to strengthen farmer associations and affirm national policies that are prosperous to the development of such institutions. Fundamental to NDDB’s efforts are cooperative maxims and cooperative schemes. The Board encourages projects and coordinates plans for growth of dairy and other agriculture and associated industries and biological.

The NDDB itself has experienced a constructive change in 1988. The resulting corporate body accepts the old name: National Dairy Development Board. The act has announced the Board to be an institution of national importance. NDDB is a specific example of authority’s development, human resource and cooperative growth in India.
